My weight exceeds the permitted limit. Can I still participate?

Unfortunately, for safety reasons, participation requirements are strict and must be respected — even if you exceed the limit by only one kilogram (or a few pounds).
Please note that your weight and/or height may be verified upon arrival.

What happens if it rains?

If you have a reservation for an activity, it will take place rain or shine, unless there are extreme weather conditions (e.g., thunderstorms or high winds).
The decision to cancel an activity is made solely at the discretion of Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux management.

If you don’t have an activity planned, you can take shelter inside the main pavilion or under one of our covered patios, where you can relax and enjoy a fire while waiting for the weather to clear.

Can children participate without an adult?

Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult on-site (and sometimes on the course, depending on the activity).
Youth aged 14 to 17 may participate on their own with a signed parental authorization form.

Should I book activities in advance?

Yes, online booking is strongly recommended, especially during high season or on weekends.
This guarantees your spot and helps us prepare your equipment in advance.
For groups or special requests, reservations can also be made by phone or email.

Can I participate in the activities if I’m afraid of heights?

Yes, but it depends on your personal comfort level.
All courses are secure, and our guides are trained to support and reassure participants.
The Via Ferrata involves greater heights, so we encourage you to discuss it with a guide before making your reservation.

Can we go fishing?

Yes, fishing is allowed along the shores of the fjord, and no permit is required.
However, you must bring your own equipment.

Possible catches include sea trout, smelt, and striped bass (please note that catch and release is mandatory for this species).

Are the accommodations isolated or close to each other?

Each accommodation offers a different level of privacy depending on its location.
Some are nestled in the forest and provide a more secluded setting, while others are located in family-friendly areas, closer to other units.

While we do our best to maintain peace and respect among visitors, please note that complete privacy cannot be guaranteed at all times, due to the site’s natural layout and its family- and community-oriented atmosphere.

Is bedding included in the accommodations?

No. Bedding is not included in any of our accommodations.
You must bring your own sheets, pillows, blankets or sleeping bags, as well as your towels.

This policy applies to all accommodation types, including chalets, cabins, pods, domes, suspended spheres, tree houses, and campsites.
Each unit, however, is equipped with mattresses to ensure your comfort and safety.

Is the park open in winter?

Yes! Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux is now a four-season destination.
During the winter months, several activities are offered, including the Winter Fjord in the Trees, Via Ferrata, ice fishing, and snowshoeing.

On the accommodation side, our domes, pods, accessible chalets, and log cabins are available so you can fully enjoy the magic of the cold season.

Please note that the park is closed between seasons, during the months of November and April, to prepare for the next opening and to carry out site maintenance.

Can I arrive after the reception is closed?

Yes, but only if you have an accommodation reservation.
In this case, an envelope with your name will be left near the reception door, containing all the necessary information to access your unit (map, keys or code, instructions, etc.).

Please note that access to the site after closing is not permitted for other reasons (activities, visits, etc.).
For any late arrival, please inform us in advance so that everything can be prepared for your self check-in.

Do you offer activities for groups or businesses?

Yes. The park welcomes school, corporate, and tourist groups.
Customized packages can include accommodations, meals, and adventure activities tailored to your needs.

For any inquiries, questions, or reservations, please contact our Sales and Marketing Assistant at 418-674-9114, ext. 15, or by email at [email protected].

Is the site accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Yes. Since 2024, new infrastructures have been designed to promote universal accessibility, including certain accommodations, pavilions, trails, and common areas.

Is the water on-site drinkable?

Yes, the water is safe to drink at every water point on-site!

Is there a restaurant on-site?

There is no permanent restaurant on-site, but snacks, beverages, and local products are available at the boutique depending on the season.
Several restaurants are also located nearby in the village of Saint-Fulgence.

Are pets allowed on-site?

Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux is one of the few parks where pets on a leash are welcome!
They are allowed on the hiking trails, at the beach, in the campground, and in the log cabins.

Please note that pets are not permitted inside the domes, suspended spheres, tree houses, pods, or accessible chalets.
